Parliamentary Forum - Securing prosperous futures: The vital link between inclusive education and employment

15 October 2024
02:00 pm - 04:00 pm
Jubilee Room, NSW Parliament House6 Macquarie Street Sydney ,
FREE
This forum will discuss how an inclusive education system can support students with disability to transition into open employment. Drawing on the lived experience of young people and their families, we will explore what works and what has not worked in transition planning. We will share the benefits of starting the Discovery Process early, a central element of the Customised Employment model, to successfully support the development of a student's will and preferences in their career choices.
