Michael Schweiger is the Chief Executive Officer of Vemvane Incorporated, a small disability service organisation based in Perth. Since 1993, Michael has directly assisted a number of people with disabilities in their aspirations to ‘have a real life’. Underpinning Michael’s approach to his work is a belief that society is strengthened by embracing and including diversity. Through his work in Vemvane, Michael has a passionate and unbending vision of services that are individualised, inclusive, and provided on a small scale in local communities.
