Accommodating human rights: A human rights perspective on housing, and housing and support, for persons with disability

Written Material

Access to adequate housing, and to adequate social support services, are fundamental human rights, but too often governments and others fail to recognise the human rights dimension in both. This position paper outlines PWD's formal policy position on these issues. It will be of use to policy makers and others who seek to incorporate a disability and human rights perspective into their work and to persons with diability and their advocates to secure the human rights to adequate housing and support services.
