Levels of Inclusion

Written Material

Organisations purporting to practice inclusion may not in fact follow through on their stated intention. In this short article, Therese Abrams, a parent, offers advice on how to assess whether a group or organisation will genuinely include a person with disability. In doing so, she outlines what an inclusive group offers. Abrams also suggests ways in which parents can work towards providing opportunities for their son or daughter's participation in a group.
