Book

Positive Behavior Support

In this booklet we are introduced to ‘JT’ before and after behavioural supports were introduced into his life. His move from a highly restricted environment to one that reflects the typical routines of other young adults has been achieved with the support of an Action Group who had a common vision for JT. The booklet outlines the steps involved to achieve JT’s current lifestyle. It stresses that positive behavioural support is a continual process using a variety of support strategies, and that monitoring is more about continually reflecting on the implementation of each of the key features of the Positive Support Plan.
