Family Advocacy is committed to digital inclusion principles by striving to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA Conformance (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) for its public-facing websites. We are constantly working towards improving the accessibility of our public-facing websites to provide a positive experience for all users, including but not limited to those with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments.

If you encounter accessibility barriers on our public-facing websites, please let us know by emailing communications@family-advocacy.com . Be sure to specify the webpage and any assistive technology you are using (if applicable), and we will make reasonable efforts to meet your needs.

Our commitment
We are deeply committed to fostering an online environment where everyone can participate including those from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We actively support and amplify the voices of these communities by:

  • Creating Culturally Sensitive Resources: We develop and maintain resources that respect and reflect the diverse cultural and linguistic needs of our users. Our content is designed with cultural sensitivity in mind to ensure it is relevant and respectful.
  • Fostering Inclusive Dialogues: We engage in meaningful conversations with CALD and Aboriginal representatives to understand their needs and perspectives. This collaboration helps us to continually improve our website and services to better meet their requirements.
