Book
A Brief Introduction to Social Role Valorisation as a High-Order Concept for Structuring Services; 3rd (revised) edition
This monograph, while not ‘brief’ in the usual sense, introduces and defines the theory of Social Role Valorisation (SRV) and its underlying (and interwoven) themes. The monograph serves as an initial orientation to the major subtopics of SRV. In this revised edition, Wolfensberger has expanded on the theory and power of social roles and has increased to 10 the number of themes. (All of these make more sense once you have read the monograph!) Wolfensberger also offers guidelines for SRV, outlining issues that should be taken into consideration. Keyword: Social Role Valorisation
