As Fitzpatrick says, “Supported living is about complete lives”. In this paper, Fitzpatrick outlines the principles of personalised supports to enable people with disabilities to live in, and participate in, the life of their community. She believes that supported living should be available to all people with disability, including those with challenging behaviours.
