“Marion” case – Family Law Court decision on sterilisation

This group of papers includes letters, press releases and newspaper items pertaining to the 1990 “Marion” case in which the Family Law Court of NSW allowed the involuntary sterilisation of a teenage girl, and 2 years later its decision that only the authorisation of the Family Court can make such a decision, not legal guardians.
