Attitudes and their consequences

This excerpt from the Disability Awareness Package (File No. 1507) considers the reasons behind the negative attitudes towards people with disabilities which tend to be held by people who have little personal contract with people with disabilities. Gething cites segregation of people with disabilities as a major contributing factor to negative community attitudes.
