Full of purpose and meaning

This is a really great short story about the move of a man from a psychiatric hospital to a home of his own close to his family. It is a great article because it shows how the process of deinstitutionalisation can work if the focus is on the individual and his/her own dreams, rather than a ‘downsizing’ and simply moving groups of people into houses – ie. a physical movement, but not a movement to become part of the community.
