Integration: Current Issues

A very positive article written by a woman with a disability who sees herself as a “special school survivor”. It lists the benefits of integration in a large school and the weaknesses of a smaller special school, with particular regard to the preparation of a child for adulthood and “the real world”. It concludes that integration (i.e. inclusion) must start with the pupils of today.
