The Emperor is Naked: The Truth about Educational Integration
This succinct article grasps in a ‘nutshell’, the concept of inclusion for children with disabilities and strongly advocates that parents and their allies are in the most powerful position to change the status quo and push the educational system forward. The author uses the term ‘integration’ to describe what we call ‘inclusion’ and writes : “Educational integration of children with special needs means just that – integration. It does not mean segregation, partial segregation or placement in a resource room.
