This booklet aims to provide a practical guide for parents who are exploring the possibility of their son or daughter moving out of home. It includes information on community resources, youth income support funding, accommodation options, safeguarding and independent living skills. Community contacts and websites are listed in the appendix. Also covered are some questions parents might ask when they are thinking about their child leaving home.
