This article describes workshops for professionals, advocates (self and otherwise) and family members held across the Canadian province of British Colombia who were dedicated to the vision of extending "ordinary considerations" for people with disabilities in the community (if the goal is to lead ordinary lives). 'Ordinariness' is now one of the rallying cries of the inclusion movement, as opposed to the 'specialised' services for people with 'special' needs that have been advocated for such a long time.
