Forgotten and Found

Book

Kim tells us the story of her life to explain why no child should grow up in an institution and separated from family. She subsequently worked through the challenges of becoming independent in the community and eventually becoming an advocate. Kim’s story also includes her working as an educator at the Intellectual Disability Rights Service in Sydney through to representing Australia on the self advocacy committee of Inclusion International.
