Jana’s Brightly Coloured Socks

Book

Jana, a young girl who shows her classmates how to be kind by sharing her brightly coloured socks, becomes the receiver of a very special gift herself. Author Sally Fetouh was inspired to write this touching story by her own daughter who has Down syndrome, feeling it was important for her and other children like her to be able to see themselves in literature.

Through a simple story and colourful illustrations, this book encourages children to embrace differences and similarities in us all.

Ages 3-8
