Nonaversive Intervention for Behaviour problems

Book

This book attempts to apply the principles and practices of learning and behaviour theory to daily living at home, work and in the community. The authors argue that services and supports to adults (and children as well) must reflect recognition of those individuals' rights to self determination. The major theme of this manual is the design of behavioural programs that do not compromise the individuals' lifestyle and dignity. It has been written so that it can be used by an instructor to guide training of other professionals and direct service staff. Keywords: Professionals, Self determination
