Cheryl Simpson, the parent of a teenager with disability describes the three traditional views that she encountered with the birth of her child. These are: the Medical View, the Miracle Cure View and the Tragic View. When her daughter was two, Cheryl attended a lecture by a parent of a 21 year old woman with disability.
